A 20-tonne excavator is wider than an ordinary truck bed, and to reach Sulawesi or Kalimantan it has to move from road to ship. That makes the preparation longer than for ordinary freight. With the details below ready, we can quote sooner and loading day stays on schedule.
Complete unit data
Take the dimensions and weight from the manufacturer's specification rather than estimating them. We price the job and choose the trailer from those figures.
Road access at both ends
A lowbed trailer needs room to enter, turn and unload. Check road widths, gradients, bridges and power lines crossing overhead. If in doubt, ask us to survey before loading day.
Sailing schedules and ports
For destinations beyond Java, the sailing schedule sets most of the timeline. Choose the destination port closest to the site, then ask whether the unit can roll onto a Ro-Ro vessel with its trailer or needs lifting by crane.
Documents to prepare
For loads beyond road size or weight limits, a road permit and an escort are usually required. We arrange the permit and escort before loading day.

Insurance
Heavy equipment is expensive and the journey is long. You can add insurance when you approve the quote; cover follows the value you declare and applies on both the road and sea legs.
